PLAINVILLE - Yvette F. Richard, 84, of Plainville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 30, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Armand C. Richard.

Born in Attleboro, MA on September 26, 1938, she was the loving daughter of the late Sylva and Irene (Rosco) Messier.

Yvette is best known for her generous spirit, devotion to family, and love of the New England Patriots. For over 50 years, Yvette was an active member of Saint Martha’s Parish as a CYO advisor, CCD instructor, and Eucharistic minister.

She enjoyed traveling, be it the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont or the Gulf Coast of Florida, with her husband of 64 years, Armand, by her side and children in tow. Her boundless energy took her wherever the wind blew.

Yvette is survived by her husband Armand, who shared in filling their home with laughter, love and homemade bread. She is survived by her daughter, Marie Zilch and her husband Robert of North Attleboro, her son Paul of Plainville, her daughter Monique McLaughlin and her husband Richard of Plainville, and her daughter-in-law Krista Richard of Port Charlotte, FL. She also leaves numerous grandchildren: Jennifer Noyes, Kimberly Gagnon, Jason Zilch, Joseph Richard, Bradford Parham, Haley Santsaver, Alexandra Parham, Katelynn Robertson, Dyllan Zilch, Amber Richard, Holly Richard, Peter Richard, and Autumn Richard. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son David Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in her honor on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 10:30 AM in Saint Martha’s Church, 227 South Street, Plainville with the Reverend Joseph Mozer officiating. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend.

Interment will be in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville.

Visitation has respectfully been omitted.
