PROVIDENCE, RI – Andrew G. Fulton, 65, of Providence passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born January 30, 1952 in Bourne, MA, he was a son of the late Charles and Gloria (Lightfoot) Fulton.
Andrew grew up in North Attleboro, MA where he attended St. Mary’s Elementary School. He later graduated from Drafting School and worked for Texas Instruments in Attleboro for over 30 years. He spent the past 10 years working at Ocean State Security and has been a resident of Providence for over 40 years.
Andrew was active for many years in the L.G.B.T.Q community in Rhode Island and was an honored guest at the Rhode Island Pride Parade’s 40th anniversary in 2016.
He loved Big Band music, art and Victorian architecture.
He is survived by three siblings: Sandra Rosenthal and husband Steve of New Orleans, LA, Melissa Stumpenhagen of Plainville, MA and Michael Fulton and wife Zanig of North Attleboro;
7 nieces and nephews: Aliisa, Kathryn, Mark, Stanford, Richard, Nathan and Evan; and a great-niece Ellie.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 9 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
