SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Gayle Falck, 77, of Salt Lake City passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the home of her daughter in North Attleboro after a lengthy illness. She was the devoted wife of Robert M. Falck 55 years until his death in January.
Born February 13, 1940 in Salt Lake City, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Blanche (Lawson) Duffin.
Gayle was raised in Salt Lake City and attended the University of Utah where she received a degree in Elementary Education.
She lived in Osterville on Cape Cod from 1970 until 1976 while her husband was employed at Cape Cod Hospital.
She returned to Salt Lake City in 1976 where she remained until March of this year when she moved in with her daughter, Suzanne.
Gayle’s greatest joy was being a mother to her six children, a grandmother to 25 and great-grandmother to two.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Gayle enjoyed playing the violin, doing her needlepoint, watching movies, and traveling to visit her children.
She is survived by 5 children: Kristin McNeil and husband, Greg, Carolyn Flitton and husband John, Robert Falck and wife Gwen, David Falck and wife Dawn and Suzanne Giles and husband Joseph.
She was predeceased by her son Scott Duffin Falck.
Funeral services will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday, June 6.
