WEST DENNIS – Donald (“Don”) R. Jeppe, 66, of West Dennis, MA formerly of North Attleboro, MA passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Brigham& Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by his devoted family after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Lorraine (Kenney) Jeppe.
Born November 10, 1950 in Boston, he was a son of the late Albert and Ruth (Spurr) Jeppe.
Don grew up in the Readville neighborhood of Boston where he graduated from the former Boston Technical High School in Hyde Park. He was voted most likely to succeed in his high school class.
He was Vice-President of Manufacturing at APT Liberty in Attleboro since founding it with a partner 28 years ago and previously worked at Ideal Instrument Co. in Canton, Pylon Co. in Attleboro, Electrofix Co. in Plainville and DMS in Attleboro of which he also was a founder.
Don and his family moved to North Attleboro in 1978 and then, he and his wife, moved to West Dennis over 10 years ago. He loved morning walks on West Dennis beach and playing golf. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and hockey but most of all cherished time spent with family and friends. He truly adored his family and was known for having a good sense of humor. Don was an avid supporter of his kids and 11 grandchildren, faithfully attending their sporting events and other activities.
He cherished his wife Lorraine; they were middle school sweethearts married over 48 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children: Lisa Murphy and husband Jim of Barrington, RI, Lorry Blasetti and husband Chris of North Attleboro, Lynda Hagerty and husband Jim of Sandwich and Derek Jeppe and Meaghan Toshach of North Attleboro. He is also survived by: brother Albert Jeppe, Jr. and wife Mary of Plymouth; 11 grandchildren (Nick, Kate-Lynd, Laura, James, Marissa, Ellen, Corinne, Rielly, Charlotte, Claire and Maxon); many sisters and brothers-in-law; friends; and, dear nieces and nephews.
