NORTH ATTLEBORO – Robert “Beau” Beauchaine, 66, of Jackson Street passed away Friday, January 13, 2016 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston surrounded by his devoted family.
Born July 3, 1950 in Attleboro, he was a son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Viens) Beauchaine.
Beau was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and has lived in Attleboro Falls since 2009.
He was a 1968 graduate of Bishop Feehan High School and attended Johnson & Wales University.
He worked in the family lumber business, Beauchaine Lumber, for many years before it closed in 1980. He then worked at several lumber and millwork companies before retiring from Franklin Lumber in 2015.
Bob loved shooting pistols, yard sales, watching football and relaxing. He enjoyed trips to Boothbay, ME and loved spending time with his family, particularly his cherished granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughter Denise Ritchie and husband Bob of Wrentham;
His twin-brother Raymond Beauchaine and Kathleen of Somerset; a sister Claire Beauchaine of Stuart, FL; a brother Richard Beauchaine and wife Felicia of Bristol, VT; two granddaughters Lauren and Juliana; a brother-in-law Frank Feeney; Donna Camara, best friend and partner who cared for him over last year; cousins: Paul, Lynn, Mark, John and Jim; niece and nephews: Joe, Nick, Brian, Ella, Jack and Louis; and his former wife Donna (Ney) Rogers of Providence, RI.
He was predeceased by his sister Christine Feeney and his longtime companion Linda Giverson.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 19 from 4-7 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 20 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 58 Church Street, North Attleboro followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
