NORTH ATTLEBORO - Janice M. (Jones) (Rockett) Issler, 71, of Quinn Street, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the former spouse of Edward T. Rockett. She was the loving wife of the late Stephen M. Issler Sr.
Born in Providence, on Sept. 24, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Paquin) Jones of Spring Street, North Attleboro. Formerly of North Attleboro but resided in North Carolina for over 15 years.
She was a dedicated nurse for 30-plus years. Retired last 10 years from self- employed polisher for military products in North Attleboro. Janice enjoyed spending time at home surrounded by her family. She loved to go exploring all the backroads of our great country. She loved feeding her birds.
She is survived by five loving children: Tina Marie Rockett, engaged to Blaise Morrill, of North Attleboro; Deborah Lee Coffey, spouse Brauch Coffey, of North Carolina; Darlene Ellen Morrison, spouse James Morrison, of North Carolina; Valerie Jean Rockett and significant other Robert Rowan of North Attleboro and Richard Rockett of North Attleboro. Cherished grandchildren: Samantha (Tester) Allen, married to Damien Allen, of Missouri; Jessie Tester, engaged to Joena Starrett, of South Carolina; Savannah Rose and Charlie Nigel and Christopher Holland of North Carolina. Treasured great-grandchildren: Haidyn Skye, Jeremiah Tester and Joena Tester. Adored by several wonderful nieces and nephews, others. She is also survived by Kathleen and Robert Austin of Attleboro; Jeffery Jones of Attleboro and Michael Jones of Georgia. Janice was predeceased by Thomas Jones Jr., Beverly Silva and Edward Jones.
Burial will be private at a later date.
