ATTLEBORO – John Cameron May “Cam” passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston at age 55.

  He was the devoted husband to Lois Daniels May of Attleboro for 34 years. 

He was born in Delhi, NY on May 12, 1961.  He was beloved father to David Cameron May and wife Emily May of Hill, NH and Lindsey Marie May of Attleboro.  Loving son to Richard and Frances May of Pinehurst, NC; brother to Laurie May Marston of Raleigh, NC and Jennifer May Pothier of Groveland, MA.  Grandchildren include Adelynn, Zachery, Anthony and Logan also survived by his niece and nephew Rachel and Connor.

John was a dedicated brother-in-law to Guy Daniels and Joan Lawson and their many children and grandchildren.

John was a 1979 graduate of Westwood High School and furthered his education at Interactive Data Corp, a company he worked for over 37 years culminating in his position of director of I.T. security.  His utmost passion was spending time with his beloved family while at home or at his camp in Deering, NH.  John was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast and enjoyed working on cars or anything mechanical.

He enjoyed kayaking with his beloved wife Lois. 

John also enjoyed firearms and strongly supported the Second Amendment.  John was a big guy with a loving heart and was deeply loved by his family, friends, and acquaintances.  He will be deeply missed by all.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, November 28 from 4-7 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.

A memorial service will be held in the funeral home immediately following visiting hours at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the American Heart Association, www.heart.org or the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.

I am so sorry to hear of Johns passing, although I was fortunate to have only known JOHN briefly, I am grateful for the time that we were able to share. He will always be in my memory and in my heart. God bless him.
I wish I could be there to share the wake and memorial with you unfortunately I am not. My deepest condolences are with you now and forever.
