NORTH ATTLEBORO - Robert P. Morin, a native son of North Attleboro and resident of Douglas passed on Thursday, Sept 29, 2016 at the age of 31. He is survived by his wife Keli; the couples beloved bulldogs Bella and Dozer, and Cameron the cat;  mother Gretchen; and brothers Christopher of North Attleboro eldest brother, Richard, of North Ferrisburgh, Vermont; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He is the son of the late Richard P. Morin of North Attleboro.

Robert was a master mechanic for Toyota of Milford. He took great pride in always putting the customer first. He was an avid marksman, practitioner of Brazilian Jiu  Jitsu, lover of all animals, the New England Patriots and country music. He graduated from North Attleboro High School in 2004 and earned a degree in automotive from MTTI in 2006.

Never at a loss for words or opinions, Robert customized cars, ran on Dunkin Donuts iced coffee and proudly drove an oversized Dodge 2500 truck for its Cummins diesel engine he often boasted about. Prior to entering the automotive industry Robert, a BMX enthusiast as a teen, worked as a bicycle mechanic and salesman at Union Cycle in Attleboro for several years while attending school.

Widely known for his tireless work ethic and big heart Robert enjoyed his time with family and friends, ice cream sundaes, video games, walking his dogs with his wife and maintaining his home in Douglas. He will be celebrated by family and friends Thursday evening, October 6, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at Sperry & McHoul funeral home, 15 Grove Street in North Attleboro. A church service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Ave. in North Attleboro at 11 a.m. All are welcome to come celebrate the life of Robert P. Morin at both events. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Massachusetts General Hospital Sarcoma Fund, Attention: Keith Erickson, 125 Nashua St., Ste. 540, Boston.
