NORTH ATTLEBORO – Karen I. Donnelly, 75, of Pleasant St. passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Norwood. She was the loving wife of Michael Donnelly for 25 years.
She was born on June 25, 1941 in Williamstown and was the daughter of the late Harry and Illiona (Harwood) Blake.
Karen grew up in Williamstown and moved to North Attleboro upon marrying Mike. They lived for 10 years in Sanford, ME before moving back to North Attleboro 16 years ago.
Karen worked as a secretary at Sprague Electric for 39 years and before retiring worked in home healthcare for approximately 15 years.
Karen enjoyed fishing, gardening, crossword puzzles and scratch tickets. She loved watching crime shows on TV such as CSI and court shows.
Besides her husband, Michael, she is survived by siblings: Sarah Felix of North Adams; Russell Blake of Williamstown and Harry Blake also of Williamstown; and four wonderful nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for Karen will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 from 9am-11am in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove St. North Attleboro. Collation to follow at the VFW, 50 Jefferson St. North Attleboro, MA.
